We can use ‘like’, ‘love’, ‘hate’ and ‘don’t mind’ to say how we feel about an activity.

She loves playing the piano.

They don’t like going to the doctor. 

He hates doing gymnastics.

Be careful!

After ‘like’, ‘love’, ‘hate’ and ‘don’t mind’ we usually use the verb with ‘ing’.

I love surfing the net.

He doesn’t like shopping.

She doesn't mind cooking.
